The Evening Respite Program
Red Rock Center for Independence provides planned and organized short-term care to support families and care givers of adults with physical or intellectual disabilities. The Evening Respite Program allows the caregiver time to decompress from the physical and mental stress associated with care-giving allowing time to rest and rejuvenate. It prevents caregiver burn out and exhaustion and helps maintain a healthy relationship between the individual and caregiver.
Respite Program Provides:
- Social Participation
- Positive Interaction
- Structured and Safe Environment
- Activities and Games
- Education and Learning
- Reduces Isolation
